Rahn the Chosen is a rubber-band powered RC racer,designed for the annual GradID Formula-E race.
According to folklore, Rahn was the chosen warrior to protect his tribe from the ancient evil, and he needed to earn his tattoos of bone-crushing power by facing three mythical tests…
Rahn is powered by a 16 feet long rubber band, has a top speed of 30 miles per hour and a range of more than 400 feet per wind. With two battery powered micro-servos to steer and brake, Rahn is quite maneuverable.
It’s designed promote the graphic novel series called The Journey of Rahn, and along with the racer, design team has designed a thematic story line including the tribal realm of Accad.
